A good vampire movie!? YES! Finally. Underworld series was alright, and I've never seen any other vampire movies that could even compare to those. Luckily, Daybreakers is quite good. This movie took a very cool perspective on the matter, looking at it from a side that has probably not been done. The world has ALREADY been transformed into vampires, and humans are running out. It mixes in themes of greed and humanity (an obvious one, but yet still well done) as well as capitalism (maybe the same as greed, but whatever).
The special effects were outstanding, and it wasn't too unbelievable (other than one part where the one guy does the one thing that makes that something happen). No coffins or invincible vampires. Just the normal, run of the mill blow up when hit with silver and die in sunlight sort of vamps.
I thoroughly enjoyed it, and if you are into the sci-fi/end of the world/vampire thing, you should check it out.
Ginger Movie Review!
I'm a very avid movie watcher, and a ginger! Why not review the movies I watch, especially since I can provide a unique perspective due to my racial minority status.

Grownups
Hello! First time back here in a long time due to the amount of work I've had on my plate. Tests projects homework...you name it I had it in the last weeks.
Today I watched Grown Ups. The cast was pretty much the entire A-list comedic celebrities including Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, David Spade, the dude from king of queens and a few others. Obviously one could expect at least a decent movie. Normally these family comedies blow because they focus on the message the movie has to portray to the viewer.
I enjoyed this movie because the jokes were not all childish or ridiculously stupid like quite a few Sandler movies. The jokes were quite good, I actually lol'd a little. Normally these actors bother the crap out of me, David Spade and Chris Rock...shudder...but they worked out really well.
As far as comedies go, this is one of the better ones. If you have netflix, it's on instant watch and you should check it out. Won't cost you a penny extra :).
